

Technical Design
I was Lead Technical Designer at Guerrilla Games for 5 years. We shipped Horizon Forbidden West which won a Bafta for technical achievement.
Before that I worked as a Visual Effects Artist on Horizon Zero Dawn, Killzone Shadow Fall and Killzone 3.
Game Design
After leaving Guerrilla, I picked up the mantle of Lead Game Designer for Metro Awakening, leading parts of Level Design and Features, and implemented much of the economy of the game. The game won Best VR/AR Game in the Steam Awards.
Blueprints
I've been Unreal Engine since 2022. I am not an engineer at heart, but I make good things and I am getting better for every passing year.
Inventory management
For example, this inventory component handles transaction between two actors / inventories.



PCG
The procedural content generation framework is probably one of the most exciting additions to Unreal Engine of recent.
Habitat System
The "Habitat System" is an extensive framework to populate entire worlds quickly data driven inputs for artists. This is only a teaser as all rights belong to Youmio (formerly Mr Kite).

This was many months of production, but is one of the finest works I have done to date.
